Liquid to ELEAGUE Premier playoffs over MIBR

Liquid have secured a playoff spot at the ELEAGUE Premier after beating MIBR 2-0 (16-10 on Cache and Overpass).

The best-of-three Group A decider game kicked off on Cache with the T-sided MIBR picking up the pistol round thanks to Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David's 1vs3 clutch. Liquid's reply came in the first weapon round which they secured with double kills from Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken & Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski, trailing 3-1.

Liquid tied the game at 3-3 but weren't able to go ahead as MIBR reclaimed and extended their lead to 6-3. EliGE & company won the last six rounds of the first half by dying only five times during that period and led 9-6 at halftime.

Liquid beat MIBR twice in Group A

Even though Liquid lost the second half pistol round, they had a commanding T-side which helped them run away with most of the weapon rounds. They won the map 16-10 to take the lead in the series.

MIBR won the pistol round on the T-side on Overpass but couldn't follow it up with another round (1-1). Liquid managed to make it 6-1 but lost a 5vs3 in the eighth round which gave MIBR their second. The Brazilian team salvaged the half and trailed 8-7 at halftime as coldzera clutched a 1vs2 in the 15th round.

Liquid grabbed the pistol round win in the second half and led 11-7 following a couple of eco round victories. coldzera & Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik stepped up with double kills in the first weapon round to make it 11-8. Liquid reset MIBR's economy by winning the following round and went on to win the map 16-10. They secured the series 2-0 and moved on to the playoffs at ELEAGUE Premier.
